Jan Behrs

Container Gardens

Jan was with us for the first time in AOMP11 Spring.
She makes wonderful container gardens out of very interesting vessels!
Her gardens are tiny and very very special!
Jan Says:

Jan's love affair with the intricate forms of succulent plants started decades ago and grew into a passion.
When she discovered she could grow them in tiny recycled vessels, she was thrilled.
Not only because she lives in an old farmhouse with narrow windowsills
but because people to whom she gave them reported they were easy to care for, stayed cute and lived for years.
She calls them "Windowsill Jewelry."
She also makes larger, outdoor succulent gardens ("Succulent Salads")
that winter over with aplomb and just keep looking better as they grow.
Easy, fun and beautiful are her goals.
